TERROIRS: The grapes are sourced from clay and limestone vineyards located throughout the Côte de Beaune and the Côte Chalonnaise, primarily from older-vine parcels.
FARMING: Sustainably farmed. All grapes are harvested and sorted carefully by hand.
GRAPE VARIETALS: 100% Pinot Noir
WINEMAKING: The grapes are entirely de-stemmed, pressed, and left to ferment on native yeasts in traditional, open-topped stainless steel tanks, with regular punch-downs, for 18 days. Following malolactic fermentation, the wine aged in two- to three-year French oak barrels for eight months. The finished wine is fined and bottled unfiltered.
TASTING NOTES: This balanced, fresh and easy-drinking Pinot Noir is chock full of mixed berry aromas. Cherry, raspberry and currant notes offer hints of white pepper, fragrant violets and bramble. Streaked with refreshing acidity, this medium-bodied Pinot is a great introduction to red burgundies, all at a great value.
PRODUCTION: ~ 3,000 bottles or 250 cases
