The previous vintage received 92+ points from Robert Parker's Wine Advocate and provides a great description of this interesting blend: "This is one of the white wine highlights of this year's tasting of Campania wines. The 2017 Polveri della Scarrupata takes a very subtle and easy approach at first, and then it picks up speed, growing in intensity and complexity as it does. This is a beautiful wine with so much dimension and character. The blend is 85% Fiano, 12% Asprinio and 3% Pallagrello Bianco, all grown on sandy tufo soils. You get a real picture of authentic Southern Italian indigenous grapes. Some 2,500 bottles and 48 magnums were made." (Oct 2019)
