Made from 100% Frappato that is fermented and aged in amphora with only indigenous yeast. Secondary fermentation was achieved through the addition of 2017 grape must added to 2016 still wine and then bottled with no sugar added and no dosage.
Fairly fresh pink color and showing hints of strawberries and raspberries in the nose. Floral, rhubarb and cherry notes lead into a wine with bright freshness and mineral backbone. Tense with a persistent finish, this wine is hopping with plenty of life ahead. Very complex, high-toned with delicious red fruit.
