El Pintor Mezcal ensamble is produced in Oaxaca in the town of Yautepec, a blend of espadin agaves and wild cuishe. El Pinot makes a series of "author agave spirits" handcrafted by the world's second certified maestro tequilero, Guillermo Barroso Arnaud. Guillermo's focus is the art behind the blend based on meticulous distillation and agricultural practices. Cooked in the traditional earth pit, naturally fermented using the yeast that the air brings in to the palenque, meshed in a tahona, then distilled twice in a copper still.
