Fuyu ("Winter") Mizunara is a three-year-old blend made up of 50% malt and 50% grain. It is made from whiskies sourced from distilleries on Japan's Honshu island, where 8 out of the total 9 distilleries are located. It is matured in American white oak barrels, with a six-month finishing period in Mizunara barrels.
Refined, elegant and fresh aromas with honey, apricot and caramel notes. Lingering on the palate, it is well-rounded in style. Fresh in the attack with pear and apple flavors and a jammy finish with a touch of caramel.
