Made from 50% Piedirosso (locally known as per ‘e palummo) and 50% Aglianico, the wine is characterized by a vivid pink colour and an intense hint of cherry, red currant and pomegranate, mixed together with essences of mediterranean scrub. The wine is structured and harmonious, it distinguishes itself for its persistence. The previous vintage received 90 points from Vinous Media: “Bright pink. Simple, open-knit, round aromas and flavors of red apple and apricot, complicated by fresh herbs and red currant. Finishes saline and brisk. Lovely Rosato.” (Nov 2018)
