Cugat is situated in the Entre-Deux-Mers, which is an appellation designated for strictly white wine, although reds of a certain alcohol and quality level are entitled to the appellation Bordeaux Supérieur. This wine comes from the 2015 vintage, which reviewer Antonio Galloni gave 93-96 points, saying "Bordeaux enjoyed its strongest vintage in a number of years in 2015.
