94 Points – “The 2016 Supersónico, produced with Garnacha grown at high altitude, close to Calatayud, fermented in open vats with indigenous yeasts and matured in 456-liter oak barrels for six months. This is always produced with the grapes from the same vineyard, an unusual place, and the wine always has less color, more spices and herbs, with subtleness, complexity and elegance. The palate is medium-bodied, the tannins are very fine and the wine is lively and shows great freshness. This is a real bargain.
