Wine Advocate has said "It's an open secret that this is one of the Beaujolais's finest addresses"; they gave the previous vintage 93 points: "Aromas of sweet red berries, plums and smoke introduce the 2019 Morgon Eponym, a medium to full-bodied, supple and charming wine that's fine boned and elegant, with powdery tannins and lively acids, concluding with a perfumed finish.
