Den Sake Brewery is the first sake brewery in Oakland, California, founded in 2017 and making handcrafted, small-batch sake from Cal-Hikari rice grown in the Sacramento Valley.
Using white koji to create a pleasant citrus-like sourness together with gentle umami flavors, this sake has aroma of celery, under-ripe nectarine and a hint of umami under the blanket of minerality, turns lively on palate with bright fruits and lemon curd, with a clean and refreshing finish.
