The Mid Elevation is our Mendocino Ridge appellation Pinot Noir. Our aim with this bottling is to showcase the coastal ridges of Mendocino Ridge with this very elegant mineral driven Pinot Noir. We combine two vineyards , Faite De Mer Farm and the Valenti Ranch in this blend for some undeniable synergy. Both sites are within the 1200-1450 mid elevation range and both are within 6 miles to the Pacific Ocean. Being closer to the fog line and to the Pacific results in cooler maritime temps throughout the season. This deep ruby colored mineral driven Pinot Noir shows deep savory red fruit tones, shitake mushrooms and wet stones. A very elegant wine at a very competitive price. Pair with roast chicken or pork tenderloin and roasted carmelized butternut squash. Drink now through 2030.
