Delightful Sonoma rose made from 55% old vine Mataro (Mourvedre) and 45% old vine Grenache, the 2019 Ode to Lulu is Bedrock's love letter to Bandol rosé. The 2018 vintage received 91 points from Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Pale to medium salmon-pink in color, the 2018 Ode to Lulu Old Vine Rosé, from vines planted in 1922, is scented of yellow peach, raspberries, cantaloupe and fresh chopped herbs with notions of crushed rock and saline. The light to medium-bodied palate gives up oodles of ripe fruit layers tempered by a mineral streak and mouthwatering acidity, finishing long and flavorful."
