Not yet reviewed, the previous vintage received 93 points from Decanter Magazine: "Clearly a hot vintage, the aromas are rich and ripe with clove-spiked blood orange in the background. You could certainly drink this now; it's rich and opulent with a velvety texture. The alcohol is quite high, however, which reflects the vintage; it is lovely, even if it's atypically rich and ripe. Could be great when aged, but hard to say with certainty at this stage. Aged in barriques and demi-muids for 18 months, with a small proportion of new oak. Fermented in concrete vats, aged in oak, no fining and light filtration."
