With powerful aromas that strike the nose long before the glass reaches your lips, every batch is a unique statement of time and terroir. Made from estate-grown agave exclusively using historic techniques—from wood-fired oven to stone tahona, from open-air fermenters to the fabrica’s original copper pot stills—Amatiteña makes no apologies for the stunning, even formidable profile of its blanco.
Distinct aromas of mesquite, marjoram, menthol, and burnt marshmallow carry through to the palate where they are joined by subtle notes of purple flowers, fresh vanilla bean, dried dates and figs, heath bar, and a persistent pulse of salinity. Produced by Maestro Tequilero Alberto Partida, a 5th generation maestro tequilero (NOM 1477) in the tiny village of Amatitán, Jalisco.
