The ImpEx Collection’s first release from Japan is one for the ages. While ImpEx won't disclose the distillery, we can say that this is fully distilled and matured exclusively in Japan. These casks were selected by Chris Uhde (one of the ImpEx founders) because they represent both the classic elegance of whisky as well as the future of what whisky will become. Savory and rich, only 733 bottles were produced.
Orange zest, vanilla spice, soft barley notes from the 17 years of barrel aging. While many Japanese whisky tastes like Scotch, because it is exactly that, this shows a Japanese quality that is amazing.
